I conducted interviews with a diverse group of users to understand their pain points while simultaneously studying similar food delivery apps to identify industry best practices and potential areas for differentiation. To gain insights into specific issues with current market apps, I also conducted a series of usability tests with existing users.
Design & Prototyping

I revamped the app’s information architecture to streamline navigation, featuring trending restaurants and user favorites on the reorganized homepage. The design incorporated a cleaner, more intuitive interface and introduced a simplified, visually appealing order customization process. To ensure a consistent user experience, these improvements were implemented across both iOS and Android platforms.

Thanks to these improvements, Urban Eats is poised to become a leader in the food delivery app market, providing convenience and delight to its users. Continued iterations and ongoing user feedback will be essential for maintaining and enhancing this positive trajectory.
